The QD (Quick Detachable) design offers both conventional (flange outboard) and invert (flange inboard) installation configurations.
1. Be certain the tapered cone areas of the bushing and the within of the driven item are clean and free from anti-seize lubricants.
2. Slide QD bushing on shaft, flange end first. Assemble key.
3. Placement QD bushing on shaft. Tighten arranged screw over key “hands tight” with regular Allen wrench only. Usually do not use excessive force.
4. Slide huge end of sheave or sprocket taper bore into position over cone aligning drilled bolt holes in sheave or sprocket with tapped holes in flange of bushing. Assemble pull-up bolts and lock washers.
Notice: Install M thru S bushings in the hub so that the two extra holes in the hub can be found as far as feasible from the bushing’s saw cut.
5. Tighten pull-up bolts alternately and evenly to tightness indicated in torque desk on back. Usually do not make use of extensions on wrench handles.
